Shortlisted Proposal with Design GUILD
Royal York Station -- Toronto, ON
Composed of two sequences of translucent resin fins reminiscent of fluid air movements, the spiraling forms can be perceived to intersect and interact. The colouration of the vortex forms create dynamic plays of light and colour as viewers explore the piece by moving about the location. As such the artwork celebrates the rarely seen poetics of movement found in the daily commute and the rhythm of the city.
